How to find your Amazon Seller ID + connect to SKU Compass
Connecting Amazon takes one click and a quick authorization in Seller Central — here’s the flow, plus how to find your Seller ID if you need to verify the right account.
What you’ll need
- An Amazon Seller Central account you can log in to
- About 2 minutes
Connect Amazon
- In onboarding, click the orange Connect Amazon button.
- A new window opens to Amazon Seller Central. Log in if prompted.
- Amazon shows an authorization screen asking you to grant SKU Compass access to your Reports, Inventory, and Orders data. Review it and click Confirm (or Authorize).
- The window returns you to SKU Compass automatically. Your Brand Manager will confirm in chat and start pulling your last 30 days of orders + full SKU catalog.
That’s it. Access is read-only and you can revoke it any time from Seller Central.
How to find your Seller ID (if you need to verify the account)
You don’t have to enter your Seller ID manually — the authorization handles it. But if you want to confirm the right Amazon account connected (common when you manage more than one):
- In Seller Central, go to Settings → Account Info.
- Under Business Information, find Merchant Token — that string is your Seller ID.
Common gotchas
| If you see… | Do this |
|---|---|
| The authorization window didn’t open | Disable your popup blocker for skucompass.com and click Connect Amazon again |
| “You don’t have permission” in Seller Central | You need an account with Admin access — a user-level login can’t authorize apps |
| You manage multiple Amazon accounts | Make sure you’re logged into the correct Seller Central account before authorizing — check the Merchant Token to confirm |
| Wrong marketplace/region connected | Log out of Seller Central, log into the correct regional account, and reconnect |
